If the smell puts you off, you can put in garlic to reduce the smell. One crucial point to note is that excessive consumption of garlic can interfere with medication. If you plan to factor it into your daily diet, you should most likely talk to your doctor.
Another thing to note is that if you have pets, keep them well away from garlic as it is toxic to most pets if they consume as little as a full clove. It can get them sick. Using fresh garlic cloves are healthier and more effective.
